Here i present you some therms that might help you understand better what’s it all about when you hear therms like:

It’s important for any graphic designer to help others understand their language and the parameters that are making the quality in a graphic designed, for this reason i’ll build and provide a simple graphic design’s glossary on my website, it might come handy to understand the jargon and the terminology used.

It might have happened to you, especially if you ever approached someone who was working in the graphic design, to have a discussion about what it’s a beautiful piece of design.

Besides those cliches about clients commenting things like:

All that white space wasted by the graphic designer, and in the end he fought not to put all the contents i told him to, why?!

Did he even worked on it?
This design seems so fast to do…

Why should i pay that much when it took her/him only that short to realise it?

Another question might comes natural when talking about graphic design:

How do you recognise a GOOD logo?

Well, if you don’t really know the answer to that question you might need a short explanation of which characteristics are making of a logo a GOOD logo.

And by starting understanding what describes a logo as perfectly designed, you’ll see that most of that mindset works for the whole graphic world.

Because a logo is not only good when you like it, but when it works for your clients and audience as well, same as your advertisement, website, and the whole corporate identity!
